Kate Colley [HR & Bookings Administrator]
I have worked at Bridport Leisure Centre since 2003 and during this time my role has not so much changed but certainly increased as the Centre has grown.
My job includes Human Resources, Payroll, Facility Hire, Bookings and Invoicing. Being such a diverse role it can be challenging juggling all the hats at once but it's very interesting dealing with different aspects of the Centre and no two days are the same.
We currently employ over 100 members of staff and it's one of my main functions to ensure they are all currently paid and on time.
In 2008 I gained my certificate in Personnel Practice through the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) which has assisted me in the role of HR at the Centre.
As well as HR and Payroll I am also responsible for facility hire bookings and invoicing. I enjoy dealing with all the clubs, schools and individuals who book the facilities the Centre has to offer and I particularly enjoy being involved in the special events and helping to coordinate them.
