If squash is your game, Bridport Leisure Centre has three squash courts, two of which are competition standard, glass backed courts. The courts are available every 45 minutes for squash and table tennis.

1975 saw the construction of the Squash Courts at the Brewery Fields site, land owned and generously leased to the Sports Trust from the Palmer family for a peppercorn rent.
The Squash Courts were seen as an important and integral part of leisure in the town and area. Competitive squash has been played at the Brewery Fields site ever since.
The current provision of 3 x Banbury courts include 2 x glass-backed and 1 x enclosed court. There is spectator viewing, a gallery and a thriving club atmosphere in this very friendly ‘all-inclusive’ club where everyone is made to feel welcome.
The Courts are complemented with excellent changing facilities, friendly Staff, hot and cold drinks as well as other activity areas such as swimming pool, Gym and exercise studios.
There are leagues for both squash and racketball, organised in an exemplary manner by regular club members. Frequent competitions are held in a variety of formats and age categories – singles, doubles, American scoring, wooden racket for Juniors, Veterans, Super Veterans, Ladies and so on and so forth.
Racketball has hit the scene in recent years, and the non-resident Club Coach has been inspirational in ‘converting’ people to play! Racketball has proved an immensely popular alternative, or supplement, to squash which has been a big hit with beginners to get them use to the angles of the Court.
The evening courts tend to get booked quickly. Half price courts are available at week-ends and recreational squash and racketball is usually freely available during the day.
