The 25 metre, 6 lane main pool and 12 metre teaching pool at Bridport Leisure Centre offer a range of swimming activities to suit everyone including:

Both pools are supervised by RLSS qualified lifeguards providing a safe and friendly swimming environment for all ages and abilities.
Swimming Information

Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult (16 years+) on a 1:2 ratio.

Children over the age of 8 must change in their respective changing rooms.

Babies must wear a suitable swim nappy (swim nappies are available to purchase from Reception) with a well fitting costume.

If you participate in another activity, you can have a half price "Cool Off Swim".

Children under the age of 4 swim free.

All swimming pool users are required to shower before using the pools.

All swimming pool users are required to use the lockers provided.

All swimming pool users must hand their swimming receipt to the lifeguard prior to entering the pool.

The changing facilities include separate male and female changing rooms with baby change facilities, showers and toilets, communal locker area and accessible changing facilities and toilet.
Swimming Timetable
Our Term Time Swimming Timetable is produced on a quarterly basis.
Holiday Swimming Timetables are available prior to each school holiday. February Half Term Holiday Activities & Swimming Pool Timetable 13th-19th February 2012.
Alterations to Swimming Timetable
Details of any future pool closures or changes to the swimming timetable will be detailed here:
- From Tuesday 10th January 2012, a new Swim Fit class will run in two lanes of the Main Pool from 8.30pm-9.30pm. Also, on the second Tuesday of every month from 8.30pm-9.30pm, a Staff Training session will run in the Main Pool restricting Adult Only swimming to two lanes.

The Swimming Pool is also available to hire for block bookings and one off special events. Contact the Bookings Administrator on 01308 427464 for further details or alternatively complete the Facility Booking Form and Facility Booking Form Terms & Conditions of Hire and return to us by post.
